Vinyl Ester and Epoxy Centrifugally Cast Pipe and Fittings
|
Centrifugally Cast Pipe
Epoxy Pipe Grades:
- Centricast Plus RB-2530, Fibercast's strongest and most
durable epoxy pipe, for the highest degree of safety and longest service life; recommended
for fluids to 250°F and vapors to 270°F; available in 1-1/2" to 14" sizes
- Centricast Plus RB-1520, highly corrosion resistant epoxy
pipe, for services to 225°F; longer spans, strong adhesive joints without machining and
low thermal expansion allows the lowest installed cost; available in 1" to 14"
sizes
Epoxy Pipe Grades:
- Centricast Plus CL-2030, used for over 25 years in the
harshest chemical services of hot acids and chlorine, among others, this high strength
vinyl ester grade has an 80 mil pure resin corrosion barrier and 20 mil exterior UV
protection, providing the best impact and abrasion resistance; ; available in 1" to
14" sizes
- Centricast Plus CL-1520, recommended for many highly
corrosive services up to 200°F, this pipe grade made with high-strength fabrics provides
the best high stress capabilities and toughness; fewer supports, better impact resistance
and controlled OD's make this pipe our Customer's Choice
Full range of connection types available: plain end for
socket or bell end / coupled.
The Centricast line of pipe utilizes Fibercast's
compression molded fittings and contact-molded fittings as standard for Fibercast piping
systems. Compression molded fittings offer the optimum in corrosion resistance by using
short glass fibers totally encapsulated in the resin. This eliminates any concern for
chemical attack of the corrosion barrier. Fibercast contact molded fittings are
manufactured with a 100 mil corrosion barrier standard, other corrosion barriers available
to meet customer specifications.
A complete line of fittings and adhesives for each grade of
Fibercast pipe is available, providing a homogenous resin system with the same corrosion
resistance throughout. |

Vinyl Ester and Epoxy Filament Wound Pipe and Fittings
|
F-Chem and F-Chem AR Filament Wound
Pipe Fibercast's filament wound
construction offers more flexibility in resin systems, glass-filled corrosion barriers and
wall thickness than centrifugally cast pipe. This allows for more design flexibility in
less severe applications.
- Available in 1" to 72" sizes
- Choose from epoxy, polyester, or vinyl ester resin systems,
or per customer specifications
- 20 mil to 250 mil corrosion barrier, based on customer
specifications
- Exterior UV inhibited
- -40°F to 275°F
- Wide range of connection types: butt wrap, flanged, adhesive
bell and spigot, o-ring bell and spigot

Fibercast is a registered engineering firm
with over 50 years of corporate experience in designing and manufacturing non-metallic
piping systems. Engineering services have been provided to leading consultants and
mechanical contractors, as well as to many firms from the ENR top twenty. Fibercast has a staff of professional mechanical engineers, chemical
engineers and technicians to design piping systems, perform specific engineering tasks, or
troubleshoot piping systems. These services are augmented by state-of-the-art testing
equipment, CAD capabilities and modern production facilities.
When extensive analysis is required, Fibercast utilizes
finite element computer programs to design piping systems for maximum reliability and cost
effectiveness.
The pipe flexibility analysis calculates pipe movement,
stresses and moments at each restraint with simultaneous calculations of thermal, dynamic,
dead/wind/ice loads, as well as seismic considerations. These calculations are based on
expected properties of new or existing Fibercast piping systems. |
